The Civil War in the Mountains
Middle Creek and Wildcat Mountain--Fall 2012
Appalachian Warfare will sponsor a tour of the battlefields of eastern Kentucky in Fall 2012. We will visit the locations of Middle Creek and Ivy Mountain, near Prestonsburg and Wildcat Mountain, near London. Overnight accomodations in London will be provided and make sure to wear walking shoes as the terrian will make these tours more physically demanding than most other battlefield visits.
