The success of The Wetlands Project is largely due to a few individuals who saw the vision of the project and went with it whole-heartedly. As the project got underway, multiple partnerships were made that strengthened community involvement and gave many different insights into how to best incorporate everyone's ideas to make this project successful and sustainable for the UVa-Wise community and the larger community of Wise County.
